We are seeking a full-time (40 hours per week) & relief status Operating Room Registered Nurses within our Surgery Center. No on-call, weekends or holidays. If you are a RN with ASC, surgical room or surgery experience, we encourage you to apply!

What You Will Do:

  • Provide perioperative nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures in both the scrub and circulating roles.
  • Utilize the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate the plan of care for patients served
  • Collaborates with all members of the health care team with a focus on promoting evidenced based care within a healing culture for the patient population served and their families.


What You Will Need:

  • Candidates for this position must have availability to work 10 hour variable shifts Monday-Friday.
  • A qualified candidate for this position will have a valid Washington State Nursing License and BLS
  • Up to 1 year of circulating Operating Room experience.
  • Specialty in total joints, arthroscopy desired.
  • 1+ years scrub experience desired, but not required.

Pay Range: $44.16-$66.23

We are seeking full-time Sterile Processing Supervisor within our Surgery Center. No on-call, weekends or holidays. If you have Sterile Processing supervisory experience, we encourage you to apply.

What you will do:

  • Perform all duties side-by-side with Sterile Processing staff on a daily basis.
  • Maintain responsibility for assessing, planning, implementing and overseeing the instrumentation to meet the mission and goals of Southwest Washington Regional Surgery Center as well as the regulatory requirements of Federal, State and Local Regulatory or accrediting agencies.
  • Collaborate with the OR Manager and maintain responsibility for all surgical sterile and supply related functions of the ASC.
  • Organize, direct and control the daily functions of the Sterile Processing team in such a manner as to provide a high level of service to all user areas and at the same time minimize the risk of cross contamination or infection.
  • Act as a liaison between Central Service and other departments to provide technical advice and consultation regarding processing, sterilizing, or linen handling procedures in order to minimize the risk of infection.
  • Physical Requirements include standing and walking for 80% of a regularly scheduled working shift and frequently lifting up to 30-40 lbs.

What you will need:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • CRCST (Certified Registered Central Service Technician) is required.
  • 5-7 years of current experience working in a Central Sterile Department or Operating Room environment required.
  • 3-4 years of supervisory experiences required or Surgical Tech experience and Central Processing experience required.

We are seeking a reliable team member with a positive attitude for a full-time Operating Room Aide position in our Operating Room.

What You Will Do:

  • Assist in tasks involving maintenance of the operating room. The primary focus is to help with set-up and efficient turnover of the operating rooms and caring for the instruments and equipment to be used during the surgical procedure.
  • Put out clean mops for the operating rooms based on the amount of turnovers, per room
  • Helps rooms gather equipment
  • Help open supplies and instruments for case
  • Check instrument pan filters
  • Ties up scrub personnel, PA’s and physicians, as needed
  • Takes garbage and linen to “Trash Room”, after operative case is completed
  • Exchanges sharps containers when ¾ full
  • Remove water from floor by scrub sinks
  • Change trash bags at scrub sink, as needed
  • Helps transfer patients onto & off of positioning equipment in the OR
  • Help change over rooms, focusing on heavier rooms, i.e. Shoulder arthroscopies, Neurosurgery cases, Endoscopic ACL’s, etc.

What You Will Need:

  • 1 year experience in hospital/healthcare environment preferred.
  • Previous experience with sterile/aseptic techniques preferred.
  • Ability to simultaneously handle competing priorities.
  • Familiarity with operating room protocols desired.
  • Strong organizational skills as well as attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Able to stand and walk 80% of time.
  • Able to push and pull equipment in the operating room.

We are seeking a full-time A/R Specialist within our Surgery Center. This position is on-site with no work from home. If you have medical office insurance collections experience this may be the position for you!

What You Will Do:

  • Ensures clean claims are submitted to insurance carriers.
  • Identifies claim issues prior to submission.
  • Monitors claim denials and rejections.
  • Follow-up promptly and effectively on all unpaid claims.
  • Identifies trends in billing and follow-up, in order to expedite resolution of insurance accounts and identify delays in processing.
  • Draft appeals/reconsiderations to insurance companies for correct reimbursement.
  • Identifies, researches and resolves underpayments, credit balances and insurance recoupments.
  • Responds to requests for additional information from payers.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

 

What You Will Need:

  • 2 years medical billing experience required.
  • Working knowledge of commercial and government payers.
  • Excellent customer service skills, a pleasing phone personality and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with various computer software including Excel and Word.
  • Extensive knowledge of insurance billing and reimbursement.
  • Extensive knowledge of collection regulations.
  • Experience with Workers Compensation and Medicaid plans preferred.
  • CPT/ICD10 coding experience.
  • Adaptable and willing to function in a variety of positions as the need arises.
  • Education: High school graduate or higher.
